Towards the end of this week, crypto assets rebounded after meandering and consolidating for two weeks. While certain tokens like decentralized financial (defi) coins, metaverse tokens, and smart contract coins have improved a lot, the meme token economy has also increased in value, like a number of meme coins like Dogecoin, Shiba Inu and Dogelon Mars have seen significant gains over the past seven days.
Meme Coins Soar in value over the past week – Shiba Fantom and Luni are leading the field
21 days ago, on December 5th, the meme token economy was down more than 12%, hovering just above that $ 47 billion region. Today is the market valuation of the meme-based crypto-economy $ 54.1 billion, up 14.61% since that day. Of the top ten meme-based crypto assets today, 8 out of 10 saw seven-day gains. The largest meme-based crypto-asset Dogecoin (DOGE) rose 9.6% last week, while Shiba Inu (SHIB) rose 21% over that period.
Other top ten meme-based assets that grew last week include Magic Token (31.5%), Dogelon Mars (51.7%), Babydoge coin (41.1%), Kate coin (22%), and Dogebonk (27.5%). However, the biggest meme coin last week’s winners include Shiba Fantom (193.5%), Luni (189%), Fantom Doge (67.2%) and Kawakami (57.5%). The biggest losers in the world of meme-based coins include Smugdoge (-54.4%), Shibavax (-42.1%) and Iotxshiba (-36.4%).
Dozens of “dog,” “shiba,” “doge” and “shib” references in meme coin names
Today’s 24-hour meme coin Winners include Luni, Shiba Fantom and Cake Monster. With the meme coin the total value of all tokens on Sunday, December 26th, is $ 54.1 billion, with Dogecoin and Shiba Inu making up the bulk of the grand total. The market cap of Dogecoin is now $ 25 billion and the market cap of Shiba Inu is $ 20 billion.
That’s roughly 83.17% of the total mem-coin savings value on Sunday morning (EST). The entire meme coin economic dominance over the value of all existing crypto coins, valued at $ 2.49 trillion, is around 2.17% today.
In addition to the usual meme coins that people talk about on a daily basis, like SHIB and DOGE, a number of coins have similar names. 24 meme coins in the meme token market economy, recorded on December 26th by coingecko.com, contain the term “doge” in their name, 29 tokens have the term “dog” in their name. 19 meme coins have the term “Shiba” in their name, 25 use the term “Shib” and 12 coins use the term “Inu” in their name.
