Combination of AI and NFTs: Binance CEO announces Bicasso
Artificial intelligence (AI) was popular in 2023 as openai platform Chatgpt aka GPT-3 made headlines and artists used AI-centric art programs like Nightcafe, DALL-E, Starry AI, Jasper and Deep AI. On March 1, Changpeng Zhao, or CZ, CEO of the largest exchange by trading volume, Binance, announced a new platform called Bicasso that combines AI and non-fungible token (NFT) technology.
“Here’s a fun new Binance AI product called Bicasso,” CZ tweeted On Wednesday. “With AI, you can turn your creative visions into NFTs. Try it and show me what you make of it. The beta is now live, capped at 10,000 mints,” the Binance CEO added.
Similar to several AI-infused art programs, Bicasso allows users to enter descriptive prompts that the AI can leverage. In addition, people can upload images of a person, animal, or landscape to mix with the photo creations. In CZ’s twitter thread, user divided her AI creations with Binance’s CEO, while others received an error message saying the system was busy and trying again. “The team is there. The AI is busy” answered the Binance executive.
Since Binance announced the new AI-focused NFT maker, a News now indicates that the product test is closed. Users interested in using Binance’s Bicasso product can now join a waiting list. “Seems like I missed it,” one user wrote to CZ two hours after the Binance CEO announced the product test.
