The developers of the meme crypto-asset Dogecoin (DOGE) publish the coin’s very first roadmap eight years after its inception.
In an update posted on the Dogecoin Foundation’s website, DOGE developers say utility is key to meme coin’s adoption, which led to four new DOGE projects being announced.
The first project involves the complete overhaul of the Dogecoin.com website, which would include Dogepedia, a compilation of frequently asked questions (FAQ) about the meme coin.
The redesign was followed by the construction of libdogecoin, a library that would allow anyone to create DOGE-compliant products without having to know the deeper peculiarities of the crypto functions.
The third project is the creation of the “Dogecoin Standard” which would lower the level of difficulty for potential developers in the hopes that the number of developers who switch to Dogecoin will increase.
The fourth project is the start of the GigaWallet project, which would allow developers to seamlessly integrate DOGE transactions into their platform, just like with other respected payment providers.
According to the developers, the projects will become payment providers, game developers, social platforms and retailers DOGE pave the way for your payment infrastructure.
“Essentially, the more useful, the more useful, the more useful, the more acceptance, the more acceptance Dogecoin gains as a serious universal currency for people everywhere.”
The roadmap also mentions two other projects, a proposal and a partnership. The developers say they will announce more details in 2022.
