Here is a realistic long-term Ethereum price prediction, according to crypto analyst Benjamin Cowen
Crypto analyst and trader Benjamin Cowen reveals what he thinks is still ahead Ethereum (ETH) until 2022.
In a new strategy meeting, Cowen tells his 663,000 YouTube subscribers that Ethereum has been in a consolidation phase for most of 2021.
To get an idea of what might happen next for ETH, the analyst looks at previous phases of consolidation in 2016 and 2017, both of which preceded massive upward breakouts. Cowen says that a combination of those two phases is likely waiting for you in Ethereum today.
“I think it probably won’t be either. It could be a mix of both. Maybe we’ll do something in the middle and we’ll break out. I’m not sure, but I would expect Ethereum to hit all-time highs in 2022 and possibly continue through 2023, but I think it is highly speculative to count on it at the moment. “
Cowen notes that Ethereum’s current consolidation phase of 2016 is similar to that of 2016 in that it stays within a 2x window. While ETH was between $ 8 and $ 16 in 2016, it hovered between $ 2,000 and $ 4,000 for most of 2021.
The analyst says Ethereum’s consolidation could last until mid-2022, but an outbreak will be the likely end result.
“The trick is that this can’t go on forever without eventually turning into one Bear market to guess. So I can imagine that we’re getting some kind of movement upwards. I don’t know how high it will go. I would expect $ 10,000 to be a reasonable goal. We could even reach $ 20,000. It’s hard to say … I envision another sideways movement for a while, especially there Bitcoin looks a bit weak at the moment. “
