NFL cancels Bills-Bengals game suspended after Damar Hamlin collapse

The NFL has decided to cancel the Buffalo Bills-Cincinnati Bengals game, which was suspended this week after Damar Hamlin’s life-threatening collapse, a decision that will have several knock-on effects for the league as it heads into the postseason.
Hamlin’s doctors said on Thursday the 24-year-old’s safety had improved remarkably after the incident in which he made a dash for getting up and then falling in a horrifying scene as he suffered cardiac arrest. He was immediately attended to by on-site doctors who performed CPR and restored his heartbeat before rushing him to the hospital.
