NFT project of the former Bored Ape Yacht Club Artist’s Partner with Scream Movie Franchise

Ein unabhängiges NFT-Projekt, Sneaky Vampire Syndicate (SVS), hat eine Partnerschaft mit Paramount Pictures und dem Horrorfilm Scream der Spyglass Media Group angekündigt.

According to the press release shared with Crypto potato, SVS, and the Horror Movie are teaming up to promote the latest movie in the Scream franchise, which is slated to hit theaters on January 14, 2022. The collaboration should bring real benefits to the community. The team behind the NFT project is working on adding utilities to bridge the gap between the NFT realm and mainstream media.

As part of the initiative, SVS plans to run a fan art competition from December 17 through January 4 to encourage both communities – the NFT project as well as the horror film – to publish collaborative-inspired art.

With the latest announcement, the Scream Film franchise joins a diverse list of companies, brands, and artists who have jumped on the NFT bandwagon. The big names include Disney, Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Lionsgate, Warner Bros., WWE, UFC, ViacomCBS, Fox.

Interestingly, Sneaky Vampire Syndicate, made up of 8,888 vampires, was created by former Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) artist Migwashere.

Bored Ape Yacht Club phenomenon

NFTs are making amazing profits and the Bored Ape Yacht Club has become a household name. For the uninitiated, BAYC is a collection of 10,000 NFTs. Based on Ethereum Blockchain each monkey exhibits different visual traits and attributes. The high-profile members of this collection include the American comedian and presenter Jimmy Fallon, rapper and singer Post Malone.

Besides that, Crypto potato recently reported how a “fat finger” error resulted in an unfortunate sale of a BAYC NFT valued at approximately $ 300,000 for only $ 3,000 on the OpenSea marketplace. It all started when the owner listed their Bored Ape for 0.75 ETH instead of 75 ETH. Before he could edit the listing, a bot trader promptly cut off the NFT.

Last week, BAYC teamed up with Hong Kong-based game software company Animoca Brands to create a blockchain game that you can make your own money. In addition, the German sporting goods giant Adidas announced a collaboration with BAYC and Pixel Vaults Punks Comic for its Metaverse activities.
