Senator Cynthia Lummis is set to introduce a new cryptocurrency law next year

                                                            Die republikanische Senatorin aus Wyoming, Cynthia Lummis, hat sich in der Cryptowährungs-Community durch ihre positive Haltung zu diesem Thema einen Namen gemacht.  Nun wird sie Berichten zufolge im nächsten Jahr einen umfassenden Gesetzentwurf einbringen.

• Sen. Cynthia Lummis – a well known Bitcoin-HODLer – is reported to be introducing a cryptocurrency law next year.
• It will cover everything from consumer protection to taxation and categorization of crypto.
• The main purpose of the bill would be to give regulators clear and concise guidance on which assets belong to different asset classes, regulate stablecoins and protect consumers.
• The bill also provides for the creation of a new organization under the joint jurisdiction of the US Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
• Crypto potato reports that Cynthia Lummis will serve on the US Senate Banking Committee.
• Bloomberg reported, however, that the proposed bill in the Senate, on issues of the Cryptocurrency evenly split would likely have a difficult road ahead of him.
