Terra Luna Classic Skyrockets 15% Daily, Bitcoin Targets $17,000 (Market Watch)

                                                            In den letzten 24 Stunden blieb der Cryptowährungsmarkt relativ ruhig – angesichts der Weihnachtsfeiertage vielleicht etwas erwartet.  Dies spiegelt sich auch im abnehmenden täglichen Handelsvolumen wider.  Einige Cryptowährungen konnten jedoch bemerkenswerte Gewinne erzielen.

Bitcoin aims for $17,000

The price of bitcoin is trading more or less at this point than it was yesterday. It appears that the cryptocurrency is consolidating just below the key $17,000 resistance level.

Data from CoinGecko shows that BTC dominance continues to increase, albeit slightly. This is the most common means of measuring its growing share relative to the rest of the market, and also suggests that altcoins are not catching up.

Ripple is up 5%, LUNC up 14%

Speaking of altcoins, most of the market has remained relatively quiet, with minor exceptions.

The best performer from the top 10 was Rippleist XRP. It has gained a whopping 5.6% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at around $0.37.

ETHBNB, DOGE, Cardano and polygon all record minor differences – nothing too significant.

Otherwise, Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) is the best performer of the top 100 coins by total market cap – it’s up almost 15% in the last 24 hours. QNT and LDO are also posting notable gains of around 8%.

At the other end of the spectrum, Chain’s XCN is down 5% — making it the worst performer today. NEXO is down 3.5%.
