Whales are quietly accumulating ApeCoin, Loopring and five other Ethereum-based altcoins, according to WhaleStats

Ethereum’s richest bagholders have shuffled their altcoin stacks while the ETH and the crypto markets as a whole have faltered.
According to data from whale watching platform WhaleStats, Apecoin (APE), a token issued to members of the non-fungible tokens (NFT) community of the Bored Ape Yacht Club, the most bought altcoin among the biggest Ethereum whales at the time of writing, excluding stablecoins and ETH itself.

According to WhaleStats, the top 100 Ethereum whales have an average of 13,826 APE in their wallets, with an average purchase amount of $172,216.

Also loop ring (LRC), an Ethereum-based token that allows building decentralized exchanges using zero-knowledge proofs. According to whale tracking service, the average Ethereum whale in the top 100 list has an average token amount of 37,880 LRC worth $26,669.

The sixth most purchased altcoin, Ethereum’s wealthiest entity is API3, the native token for the API3 project, which aims to integrate traditional application programming interfaces (APIs) with the Blockchain– connect world.

Also appearing on the list are decentralized streaming service Audius (AUDIO), social token platform Chiliz (CHZ), decentralized finance protocol Yearn Finance (YFI) and the smart contract platform Fantom (FTM).

Ethereum stands above all other crypto assets as well-funded investors bought an average of 368 ETH worth $994,008. The other two tokens on the top ten list are the stablecoins USD Coin (USDC) and Tether (USDT).
